I slept all night!!

I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I’ve only used it for 2 nights so far, but it definitely works. I slept through the night. Deeply. No strange or bad dreams, which I was getting nightly. I’m quite pleased with the product so far.

Very pleased!

I’ve tried my fair share of supplements over the years, and generally I’ve found that I either don’t feel a thing as a result or am grasping at straws trying to convince myself they’re helpful. I’ve found that mental supplements are frequently even less helpful - even certain prescribed medications for depression. This product surprised me in a positive way. I genuinely do believe that it’s helpful - I take it on days when I’m over-stressed, exhausted, or feeling down. I generally notice my mood improving significantly within a couple hours. It’s helped significantly with my occasional anxiety and depressive bouts. I’m also incredibly impressed with this company’s ethics - it’s very rare to find a company willing to sacrifice profit for transparency and goodwill. You go, guys!

Serotonin Brain Food

This supplement has helped tremendously with motivation and regulating my sleep. I use it as an adjunct to a Wellbutrin Rx, and the two compliment one another nicely. Great value for a substantial difference in mood, motivation, and normality and quality of sleep.

Helping to stabilize my mood

I decide to stop my prescription medication, which wasn’t an ssri but was more of a dopamine and norepinephrine stimulator. I felt it had stopped working and I was having some stomach pain. I was still depressed so I wanted to try something to help with that. I took a brain chemical quiz and it suggested I needed more seratonin. I have been taking seratonin brain food for about 3 weeks and it seems to be helping. I do have down times but I am much more even keeled. No side effects. Will continue using.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Serotonin Brain Food™?

Serotonin Brain Food™ is the first all-natural supplement designed to optimize levels of the neurotransmitter Serotonin.

What is Serotonin?

Serotonin is one of the brain’s most important neurotransmitters. Commonly considered the “happy molecule” serotonin is mainly associated with feelings of happiness, positive mood, mental calmness, and emotional balance.

When should I take Serotonin Brain Food™?

You should take 2-3 capsules to support a positive mood, during situations of stress or irritability, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Are there any side effects with Serotonin Brain Food?

You are NOT ingesting the neurotransmitter directly. Like all of our Brain Foods, Serotonin Brain Food™ contains the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that are involved in the metabolism of that respective neurotransmitter. You are not directly ingesting or manipulating that neurotransmitter. By providing your body the nutrients it needs to metabolize these neurotransmitters, it is able to achieve optimal levels naturally. This method of naturally finding optimal levels also removes the chance of down-regulation, so you can safely take our Brain Foods to achieve and maintain optimal levels of Serotonin for long-term use.

What is Serotonin's function?

Serotonin functions in many areas throughout the body, most notably in the central nervous system for mood support, and in the gastrointestinal tract for appetite regulation.

Serotonin was initially found to influence blood vessel constriction, but since the recent popularity of antidepressants like serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) we’ve learned that serotonin functions as the brain’s primary “mood equalizer,” regulating mood, memory, social behavior, anxiety, sleep, and learning ability.

How do you increase Serotonin naturally?

Based on the scientific evidence there are 4 best ways to increase serotonin levels naturally: daily exposure to sunlight, positive thinking and mindfulness, exercise, and diet.

When trying to increase serotonin levels naturally, the best first step is to ensure you deliver the essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body and mind need to support peak serotonin production.

Serotonin Brain Food™ contains the science-proven raw materials the brain needs to support optimal serotonin synthesis. These include tryptophan, B vitamins, magnesium, and zinc.

What is Serotonin Syndrome?

Serotonin Syndrome is a group of symptoms that can occur from certain medications or drugs that act on the serotonin pathway, increasing serotonin levels to extremely high amounts. Examples include SSRI’s, SNRI’s, TCAs, and MAOIs.

Symptoms range from mild to severe and include high body temperature, agitation, tremor, sweating, dilated pupils, increased reflexes and diarrhea.

Initial treatment consists of discontinuing medications that may be contributing.

The link between low serotonin and mood

Serotonin is the main neurotransmitter responsible for feelings of happiness and relaxation.

Lower levels of serotonin (serotonin deficiency) are linked with poor mood, depression, and anxiety.

When serotonin levels are at a healthy balance, we are more likely to feel happy, positive, and relaxed in all situations.

For this reason, serotonin is considered a "mood regulator,' directly linking your emotional well-being with the amount of serotonin present in the brain.

Low Serotonin and trouble sleeping

Serotonin is a calming neurotransmitter and if you have low levels, you may experience sleep disruptions and sleep disorders such as insomnia.

Stress is a major contributing factor to low serotonin, which can result in a cycle of disrupted sleep, and mood disturbances like depression, anxiety, or fatigue.

What Natural Stacks work well with Serotonin Brain Food?
