    Smart for Shift Workers

I am a new paramedic with low seniority, so I have been working 12 hour night shifts for the past year now. Shift work has definitely made me question my vitamin D levels and I know for a fact my mood has been more volatile. Been taking the Vitamin D supplement for a couple weeks now and notice a stabilization in mood. Took a blood test last week and my Vitamin D levels were at 59 ng/mL. Which is right in the middle of normal values. Unfortunately, I don't have a value for before I started supplementing. I do, however, have a history of having lower levels in the past and with working night shift, I can only imagine what they were at prior to me supplementing.

As far as immune system improvement, I typically get a cold more often than most people. About 3-5 times a year. Felt like I was coming down with a cold again a few days back and was preparing for the week of misery. Went to sleep and woke up feeling normal. Not sure it was the supplement or not that help kick whatever was trying get me sick but I'm sure it help somewhat.

Definitely will keep supplementing with product for as long as I'm on nights.
